Voodood Promotion proudly presents Garden of Delight, one of the most historic German Occult-Goth bands during their reactivation for the 25 years of their existence.<\/p>\n

Almost 10 years after their final disbandment and after much pressure from the fans, Artaud (Vocals), together with Jawa (Bass), Jon (Guitar) and a member of G.O.D. for many years Mike York (Guitar), restore the band with the aim of appearing in three selected live shows worldwide and only in major festivals (Castle Party, NCN and DarkXmas).<\/p>\n

However, due to the known special bond between Artaud and the Greek audience and as these shows permanently close the chapter of Garden of Delight, another show was decided in our country.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, in order to reward the Greek fans for all the years of support, they will present a best-of setlist with songs from all periods of their career.<\/p>\n

Along with them the Thessalonians Come With Reverse who come back to make an impression with new material and appearances abroad. Anima Triste who have bedazzled us and want to prove the reason why, The Hidden Heroes 66 who will present songs from their upcoming first album and the known to us all INsCissorS for an atmospheric opening.<\/p>\n

GARDEN OF DELIGHT: Garden of Delight were created in 1991 by Artaud and Pisacane as a result of their passion for the occult and being influenced by the works of authors such as H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Aleister Crowley, William Blake, Anton Szandor LaVay, Charles Baudelaire and many more. Despite their early sound their first single NECROMANTEA in 1991 created the foundation for the release of their debut ENKI’S TEMPLE from the historic company Dion Fortune.<\/span><\/p>\n

With Pisacane\u2019s departure of and the arrival of the guitarist Thomas O’Connell and bassist Adrian Hates (later member of DIARY OF DREAMS) the first period of the band was marked. During this time they released the classic to the Gothic scene albums SARGONID SEAL (19th in the independent charts in 1993), the lyrically complex NECROMANTEION IV (one of the 50 best albums of the 90s according to Sonic Seducer), SYMBOL AND VISION (during which period Artaud had decided to stop giving interviews thus preserving his eccentric reputation) and PARADISE (album of the month according to the German magazine Zillo). In 1997 the first cycle of the band closes with a memorable concert in Derby, England, which meant the (temporary as it was later proven) breakup of the band.<\/p>\n

Their comeback was in 2000 with the explosive RADIANT SONS (album of the month according to the German magazine Orkus). Despite gradual changes to the line up their concerts are magical inciting Belgian “Darker Than A Bat” Magazine to write ”Front man Artaud dwelled through a curtain of smoke and darkness … Gosh, this is a mystical figure … The spirits really seemed to be invoked …”. Dawn, which followed after that, was a masterpiece as well as the FAITHFUL AND FALLEN album of 2003 (Act of the Month in Orkus and Best Album in the online magazine Musicfolio). LUTHERION (I, II & III) lead the band in a more mainstream direction, but always remaining faithful to their own sound. DARKEST HOUR was the swansong of the band with Artaud creating great things again.<\/p>\n

From that day onward Artaud created Merciful Nuns (his main project) and the recent, quite experimental Near Earth Orbit. In Garden Of Delight’s supporters’ memory they will always be one of the most creative and innovative Goth bands.<\/p>\n

COME WITH REVERSE: The special guests of the evening, Come With Reverse, were created in Thessaloniki by Peter Livadas, Alexander Pasalidis and Alexander Lykesas. Since all of them had received classical education in music they decided to create an experimental \/ avant-garde goth band with influences from classical music and the traditional-ethnic music of various countries. Their first Mini Album made enough sensation in the local scene, helping the band create a large fan core in Athens, which they have visited three times, even opening shows for historic bands like Inkubus Sukkubus and Malaise. So, after 2.5 years (and with live performances in Germany and Finland) they return, having the release of their debut album in their hands, in order to conquer the scene of Second Skin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anima Triste: The Darkwave Post-Punk band Anima Triste was formed in June 2014 in Athens by Mad Sad (voice), Greg DiRt (guitar), Jimmy C (drums) and Gus BLACK (bass). Last year they tested their sound, experimented, did not hesitate to reconstruct whole songs again and again and at this time they have 14 original compositions, without counting the covers that have made to bands they love. Counting many live gigs from November 2014, recently they also released their debut album.<\/p>\n

The Hidden Heroes 66: The Hidden Heroes 66 are the case of a band that has started to make a sensation in the Gothic community because of their explosive gigs. With many influences from Sisters of Mercy and Fields of the Nephilim, they are preparing their debut album by a German company and they are bound to get the audience of Second Skin to pay the attention they deserve.<\/p>\n

INsCissorS: InsCissorS have many fans not only in the local scene but also abroad (let’s not forget their cooperation with John Santerineross in his short films).
