Gonzo replaced former<br \/>\nbassist and vocalist Sebastian Knop in 2009.<br \/>\nCherries On A Blacklist recorded their first EP titled \u201c14\u201d in the summer of<br \/>\n2008. Th<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">eir debut album \u201cLakafigo\u201d was recorded in winter of 2010 with<br \/>\nproducer Olman Viper (Null Zwei Studios in Hamburg) who has worked with<br \/>\nbands such as Caliban, Kreator, and Emil Bulls. In August 2011 the band<br \/>\nfounded their own label named \u201cGrey Ham Records\u201d and through that<br \/>\nreleased their first single \u201cGoat in the Yard\u201d on October 14th, 2011. The single<br \/>\nwas followed by their debut album \u201cLakafigo\u201d on May 4th, 2012.<br \/>\n\u201cLakafigo\u201d was well received by the media (reviews, interviews, airplays, etc.)<br \/>\nfrom all around the globe (Germany, France, England, Greece, Italy, Spain,<br \/>\nHolland, India, Canada, U.S.A, Australia, etc.).<br \/>\nThe band has performed around Europe, and shared the stage with bands<br \/>\nsuch as D.A.D, Die Happy, Ohrenfeindt, Planet of Zeus, One Fine Day, and<br \/>\nAsteroid. In 2013 Cherries On A Blacklist headlined their first international<br \/>\nshow at the VIT Riviera Festival in Vellore, India.<br \/>\nIn 2014 Cherries On A Blacklist, and producer Olman Viper started the<br \/>\nrecording of their second album \u201cGlorious Days\u201d. The album was recorded live<br \/>\nat the famous Horus Sound Studio (Guano Apes, Emil Bulls, Donots,<br \/>\nParadise Lost) in Hannover, Germany.<br \/>\nOne year later, George decided to take some time off from the band due to<br \/>\npersonal reasons. After careful thought, and consideration the role was finally<br \/>\ntaken over by long time friend Vasilis. On October 30th of 2015 Cherries On A<br \/>\nBlacklist released \u201cBarrel of a Gun\u201d the first single of their second album<br \/>\n\u201cGlorious Days\u201d. \u201cGlorious Days\u201d is planned for release in the summer of<br \/>\n2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>YDS:<br \/>\nThousand of miles away from the US west coast and a certain rainy city that spawned a handful of bands in the 90\u2019s, lives a trio, hotter that the spicy sauce it\u2019s named after. Don\u2019t let their youngish looks fool you, Yellow Devil Sauce have been at it for more than a decade and are still going strong.<br \/>\nIt all started in 1999 when Alex (guitars, vocals), George (drums) and Costas (bass) got together and started rehearsing. The talent was apparent and a 1st place in a Battle of the Bands type of contest was granted very soon. \u201cDeskJob\u201d demo was released in 2001, giving a taste of the band\u2019s main ingredients, a massif rhythm section, adventurous guitar lines, amazing vocal delivery. The influence from Tool, Nirvana and the Seattle scene in general was obvious but well received as the band was too good at it. In 2004, Costas -a great bassist- left due to artistic differences. In came Theodoris (ex Crimson Sunsets), equally great at his bass but with a frame of mind closer to the band\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n<p>The new line up soon entered the studio for the band\u2019s eponymous debut. Covered in mustardish colours, Yellow Devil Sauce was released in 2006 through the indie label X-art.ici Music, going down the same lane as the demo, musicwise.<br \/>\nIn 2010, a cooperation between the band, Spinalonga Records, Catch The Soap Productions and TFK Productions brings \u201cEarly Dinner At Dr.Chakravartis\u201d to light.
